West Allotment Wildlings at UK Games Expo 2026 — Come Say Hello!

This Sunday, 31st May, West Allotment Wildlings will be heading to Birmingham for the final day of UK Games Expo 2026 — the largest tabletop gaming convention in the UK, this year celebrating its landmark 20th anniversary at the NEC. And we are absolutely buzzing to be there.

UKGE is the one place where every corner of the tabletop hobby comes together under one roof — wargames, board games, miniatures, roleplaying, card games — and for a club like ours, that makes it an unmissable event.

Why We're Going

As a club we're always on the lookout for what's next — games that could become a regular fixture on our tables, publishers doing something exciting, and creators whose work aligns with what we're all about. We'll be walking the halls with fresh eyes, getting hands-on with demos, and keeping a close eye on new releases that could be a great fit for our members.

There are some fantastic names on the show floor this year. Asmodee will be taking over more than 1,500 square metres across 10 stands, with over 160 games available to play — a brilliant opportunity to get hands-on with titles across their massive catalogue. Mantic Games are also there, with their upcoming Ghost in the Shell TTRPG turning plenty of heads alongside their existing Kings of War and Deadzone ranges. Corvus Belli will be on the floor, giving visitors the chance to try out Infinity and their new fantasy wargame Warcrow — both very much on our radar. And for our board game and dungeon crawler fans, Czech Games Edition, Hachette Boardgames UK, and Wayland Games are all exhibiting, with Fantasy Flight Games also confirmed with a convention exclusive for Star Wars: Unlimited that's already generating a lot of buzz.

We're also genuinely interested in exploring future partnerships. If there are publishers, designers, or creators at the show who share our passion for building communities around tabletop gaming, we'd love to have a conversation. WAW has always been about more than just playing games — it's about the people, the creativity, and the community that grows around this hobby. If that resonates with you, find us on the day.
