About West Allotment Wildlings
West Allotment Wildlings is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who keep our club welcoming, safe and full of life. Each member of our admin team brings something different: from hobby knowledge and event organisation to safeguarding experience and community support. Together, we make sure every session runs smoothly and every person who walks through the door feels part of the Wildlings family.
Our admins are here to help you find games, learn new systems, settle into the club and get the most out of your hobby time. Whether you need a hand choosing an army, want advice on painting, or simply need someone to chat to, you will always find a friendly face ready to support you.

What Is an Admin?
Our Admin team are the people who help run West Allotment Wildlings sessions and keep everything running smoothly on the night. They are the first point of contact if you need help, have a concern, or are unsure about anything while you are with us.
Admins support set-up and pack-down, welcome new members, help manage games and spaces, and make sure everyone feels safe, included, and supported. They are there to step in if any issues arise and to make sure our community standards are upheld at all times.
Safeguarding, Training and Checks
Safeguarding is a core responsibility of every Admin at West Allotment Wildlings. All Admins receive safeguarding and Prevent training, and they are fully aware of their responsibilities when working with children, young people, and adults who may be at risk.
Where required, Admins are DBS checked, with records held securely and reviewed in line with our safeguarding policies. We also have a named Designated Safeguarding Officer and clear procedures in place for reporting and responding to any concerns.
This means you can be confident that our sessions are overseen by trained, accountable adults who take safety, wellbeing, and respect seriously.
A Safe and Supportive Presence
Our Admins are not just organisers — they are there to listen, support, and help create a calm, welcoming environment. Whether you are brand new to the hobby, attending with a child, or just need a quieter space or a bit of reassurance, an Admin is always available to help.
If you ever need to speak to an Admin, just ask — we are here for you.
